On Sunday at 10:09 PM, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department contacted the Juneau County Sheriff’s Department to assist in locating a missing juvenile from Monroe County.
The missing juvenile was last seen being picked up by the suspect, or person of interest in this case, 47-year-old Virgil Thew.
The search investigation began early the next morning, Monday. Later that day, the New Lisbon Police Department was informed about another missing juvenile from New Lisbon.
That afternoon, at approximately 4:29 PM, the Juneau County Communications Center received a call reporting three individuals found dead inside a property.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered that the deceased included two children and one adult inside a residence on the 300 block of West Bridge Street in New Lisbon.
The identities of the victims found inside the residence by the New Lisbon Police Department have not been revealed, but it is believed that they are females.
Investigators continue to search for Thew. He is a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored down coat, blue jeans, and a hat.
Thew is wanted by Wisconsin Probation and Parole. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Law enforcement advises that if he is seen, do not confront or approach him. Instead, call 911 immediately.
