23-Year-Old Woman Jailed for Sex with 14-Year-Old in Glasgow

A 23-year-old woman from Glasgow, Scotland, has been convicted after allegedly having intercourse with a 14-year-old teen in a flat.

Eve Kilgariff, 23, preyed on the teenager, who, according to her, “she found him to look older than she thought he was” between April and June of 2022.

Reportedly, Eve and the teen boy were watching a movie in a flat when Eve kissed the boy and touched his thighs before having intercourse.

Prosecutor Jessica McGowan told jurors in her closing speech: “She said in a police interview that she found him to look older than she thought he was.

“She thought about and wanted to have sex with him.

“She did not recall if she had sex with him.”

“The boy did not make it up – he had vivid memories that it happened.”

The teenager stated that he did not disclose to his parents after the incident had taken place.

The fiscal depute told the trial: “This is understandable at that age that he did not tell other adults that he was kissing and having sex with her.”

Kilgariff was found guilty by the jury of engaging in sexual activity with an older child. Kilgariff was remanded in custody pending background reports by Sheriff Joan Kerr, who also put her on the sex offenders register meantime.
