Three People Dead in Suspected Murder-Suicide in Frisco, Texas

FRISCO, Texas – Three members of a family, including a 15-year-old, were found dead in what authorities suspect to be a murder-suicide.

Frisco Police discovered the teenager’s body at approximately 4:13 PM on Friday, December 6, at a home in the 10200 block of Bancroft Lane.

Officers were called to the residence for a welfare check after a coworker failed to show up for work and could not be reached. While en route, they were informed that a family member who had arrived at the scene before them had called 911 after finding two bodies near the entryway. Responding officers later found a third body in the garage.

The victims were identified as 54-year-old Ronald Morris, 53-year-old Stacy White, and 15-year-old Gavin Morris. Based on preliminary findings, authorities believe the case is a murder-suicide.

“Frisco detectives continue to investigate all aspects of this case, and a final determination may not be made for some time,” police stated in a press release.

Details about which individual died by suicide have not been disclosed. The investigation remains ongoing.

Neighbors expressed shock over the tragedy. According to CBS News, Ronald Morris had been dating Stacy White for two years and had recently moved into the residence.

Eulanda Reddick, who had been White’s neighbor for 20 years, described her as a quiet and kind person. “She kept to herself, had a really meek spirit, and didn’t bother anyone. For something like this to happen, it’s mind-blowing,” Reddick said.

“She seemed really happy, and the few times I saw them, they looked like the perfect balance. To experience this, it’s like, ‘What happened?’” she added.

Gavin Morris was a freshman at Memorial High School. According to Fox 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth, the school plans to address his death with students on Monday, December 9.
