TikToker Sentenced to 12 Years for Killing 6 Farmworkers in 151 MPH Car Crash

The 20-year-old TikToker, Noah Galle, when he was 17-years-old in 2022, crashed his BMW sports car into the back of a small SUV at the speed of 152 mph, killing six farmworkers who were leaving their shift.

The crash in Palm Beach County was one of the county’s deadliest road traffic incidents, according to local reports.

On Monday, Jan. 6, Noah of Wellington entered a plea deal with the prosecutors to avoid his case going to trial and received a reduced sentence. Noah was sentenced to 12 years and 180 days in prison after he pleaded guilty to six counts of vehicular homicide.

Noah Galle is the son of a local Wellington attorney, Craig Galle. Noah prepared a statement of remorse that was read out by his defense attorney, Liz Parker, a former traffic homicide prosecutor.

“There’s not a day that goes by that Noah doesn’t think about his actions and what impact they have had on so many lives,” she read. “He wishes every day that he had died in the accident and not the victims.”

Noah was just 17 years old when he killed Mirlaine Julceus, 45; Filaine Dieu, 46; Vanice Percina, 29; Remize Michel, 53; Marie Louis, 61; and Michel Saint, 77, on U.S. Route 441 on Jan. 27, 2022, driving at the speed of 152 mph at around 11 p.m. The speed limit on that road is 55 mph.

Chief Assistant State Attorney Alan Johnson shared a statement on behalf of the victims’ families.

“The victims’ families have written to us that they did not object to this plea. Some of them didn’t even want him to go to jail at all. One wanted us to drop the case entirely. What is the proper sentence in a case like this? No amount of prison time will bring the victims back to their families. We feel this is an appropriate resolution. This case is a tragedy,” the statement read.

West Palm Beach Chief Assistant State Attorney Al Johnson said Noah could have been hit with a minimum of 55 years or a maximum of 90 years in prison if his case had gone to trial.

Per the plea deal, Galle’s prison sentence will be followed by seven years of probation, as well as the revocation of his driver’s license for three years. He must also complete 800 hours of community service, a victim impact panel, and a 12-hour driving course.

Johnson said the deal was fair and had the backing of the victims’ family members.

“This is a significant punishment. What is the proper sentence in a tragic case like this?” said Johnson.

“No amount of prison time will bring the victims back to their families. The families have written to us that they did not object to this plea. Some of them didn’t even want him to go to jail at all. One wanted us to drop the case entirely.”

Galle, meanwhile, did not comment as he left the courtroom. He was flanked by his father and his attorneys as he entered and left the court.

He will have to serve a minimum of 85% of his prison sentence, and the sentence will be followed by seven years of probation, reports say. His driver’s license was also revoked for three years.

Galle agreed to turn himself in on Feb. 3.

As part of his sentence, Galle must post a video to social media sharing his story and advocating for the importance of safe driving, according to The Palm Beach Post. He must also perform 800 hours of community service, complete a 12-hour driving course, and attend a panel where crash victims share their stories about how their injuries affected their lives.
