A Rock Springs couple has been arrested and accused of engaging in group sex with a Juvenile

Jennifer Renee Fahrney, 39, and Richard Allen Turner, 56, could face years in prison after they allegedly involved a teenage girl in their sexual acts by giving her drugs.

The couple is now facing a slew of felony charges in Sweetwater County District Court after their arrest on October 22, 2024.

Reportedly, Jennifer has 66 felony counts against her, and if convicted, she could face up to 858 years in prison. According to an affidavit, she brought a teenage girl in for sexual acts with her boyfriend multiple times over a period of more than a year.

Jennifer and Richard were arrested by the Rock Springs Police Department after a warrant was issued for a child welfare check at their home. According to the police, they had previously visited the home with family services but were denied entry.

Upon entry, authorities found animal urine and feces throughout the home. There were three minor children present, and the living conditions were extremely filthy. Two other adults were also arrested.

When Rock Springs Police Department Detective Jennifer Saloga interviewed the girl, the victim stated that someone helped her inject meth into her arms before having sex with Turner, as she did not know how to inject herself.

The victim did not specify who injected her with the meth, but she admitted that Turner had had sex with her multiple times.

Jennifer allegedly arranged the sexual encounters between the girl and Turner for over a year and also watched them engage in sexual acts.

Investigators reported finding Jennifer arranging the sexual meet-ups in her phone under a contact labeled “my biggest mistake.” Police also discovered child pornography on Richard’s phone.

Reportedly, 57 of the charges against Jennifer involve sex crimes against a child, and nine of them involve exposing that child to drugs.

Richard had an outstanding warrant for failing to register as a sex offender and has two pending cases in different courts. He faces 13 counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor, each punishable as a second offense by a term of life in prison. and he’s set for an arraignment Jan. 27. This case also claims he gave drugs to a minor three times (punishable by up to 20 years in prison and $20,000 in fines for each instance) and committed child abuse three times (up to 10 years in prison and $10,000 each).
